Following the treatment:
-Mild redness/pinkness is completely normal and typical following this treatment and normally subsides after 30-60 minutes after the treatment.
-Some areas may show temporary markings/patterns following the use of the Gua Sha tools
-Slight tenderness when touching previously congested areas, may occur, which indicates successful release of stagnation.
-Keep hydrated, as this will support detoxification.
-Reduce caffeine intake
-Avoid alcohol for 24 hours
-Cut down on smoking
-You may experience frequent trips to the toilet, runny nose, cough, perspiration; these are all reactions to the body self-healing and elimination of toxins.
-Avoid make-up for at least 4 hours, allowing the skin to breathe and absorb the products applied.
